Spokane more
a quick addition to last nights blog...I forgot to mention getting to the front door of the welch house yesterday..
Guess what Buzzie could not find...his keys..some things never change.
There was a general birthday theme around these first few days of this trip Wednesday my second day in LA, was Anna and Thursday, the day i relocated from LA to Spokane, was Shannon and Niko. Even though I was in Halloween world on Wednesday and uncle Jim DID manage to wish Anna happy birthday through facebook, I had to be reminded via a Facebook email of Anna saying thanks for all he birthday wishes. So had to do some crawling on facebook. Then on Friday I got to watch Buzzie have to crawl because he forgot to call Shannon for her birthday the day before. So at least I was not alone in the sin bin.
The next morning we walked up to Paul and neecie's house to talk about their travels to Australia in Feb. we ended up having breakfast there and I took a photo of her big stove, which they said cost more than their first house.
The walk up and back included going past our old house to get a few photos of the front and the back as buzzie could look over the fence from the lane way, and then walking by lots of houses for sale. This is just something you have to do in Spokane especially because these houses just get to you. We saw houses from $289 to $500, lots in the $300 range.
Then it was pack the car, go the the bank, check out a pub to see some of the work Marias husband had done there on the bar itself, go to Rosaurs grocery store (hooray) and pay a visit to Maria and Roberts to see if the lizard was still alive and then get petrol before we finally started on our way.
