Spokane
Three flights to get from LA to Spokane, not the best planning but all connections were made and no bags were lost. Crissie picked me up with Niko (Maria and Roberts oldest) and Regan (Mike and Larissa's youngest).
Then we had to go somewhere in Cheney to pick up Buzzie. Driving into Spokane and Heading up South Hill was very distracting, just seeing all of those big timber houses again with the fall leaves everywhere, I was charmed long enough to forget who had to deal with all of those leaves. But the colours are wonderful.
Walking into the Welches place on
17Th was also very welcoming
And familiar. I was only inside long enough to put things down before Chrissie was walking out the front door to look at a house for ale with Maria and husband Robert. Well I wasn't going to miss that opportunity, so off we went. I have pics of the house below, as always these Spokane houses have Storage laid on and lovely placements of the house on the block. as I know you will want to know, the house,
4 bedroom on 2 stories and a fill and finished basement, is for sale for just under $400.
Closely following this was a trip out to the north side to a pet shop to purchase a special birthday present for Niko, wait for it, a baby bearded dragon from guess where???
Once this mission was completed and all hazards were avoided, such as the little dragon getting lost in the car on the way home, we ended up back at Maria and Roberts for dinner with everyone, which was very fun. Anna you would have loved being in that kitchen watching the dynamic between Crissie and Maria. Turns out we are heading for Seattle tomorrow so my time in Spokane is short, but we have a few morning expeditions planned.
